Recipe Cocoa Kisses

Ingredients:


  • 3 egg whites, at room temperature
  • 1 cup granulated sugar
  • 1/8 teaspoon salt
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • 3 tablespoons cocoa
  • 1/2 cup chopped pecans

Directions:

1. Preheat oven to 250 degrees F
2. Spray baking sheet with baking spray
3. In a large bowl, beat egg whites until soft peaks form
4. Gradually add sugar and salt, beating until mixture is glossy
5. Beat in vanilla
6. Sift cocoa into bowl; fold into meringue along with pecans
7. Put mixture in a pastry bag fitted with star tip
8. Pipe small kisses onto prepared baking sheet
9. Bake 1 hour or until firm and dry
